ModuGo storage containers generally come in 3 different conditions, New/1-trip, Cargo Worthy and Wind & Watertight. We can also get IICL certified containers certified for overseas freight. The specifics of each are described below:
New/1-Trip Containers (NEW)
These are the newest containers commonly sold and are in excellent shape. The paint will be uniform and the doors and floors will be in excellent shape. These containers were built overseas and shipped here once ("1-trip") before being offered for sale.
Cargo Worthy (CW)
These containers have been used in overseas freight for a number of years. Like all used containers sold through ModuGo, they will be free from holes. However, they will have some dings, dents and surface rust. They are generally several years newer than Wind & Watertight containers and are a nice option for those buying used containers who are more concerned with appearance.
**These containers are NOT necessarily certified for overseas freight - if you are looking for an IICL certified container please see IICL below.
Wind & Watertight (WWT)
These containers have been used in overseas freight for a number of years. Like all used containers sold through ModuGo, they will be free from holes. However, they will have some dings, dents and surface rust. If you want an easy storage option that will be free from holes but don't put a lot of importance on appearance, this is likely the option for you.
IICL Certified (IICL)
If you need a container that is certified for overseas freight/shipment, ModuGo can help. IICL Certified containers have a certificate issued by a qualified inspector which affirms that the container is in a condition worthy of overseas freight pursuant to the International Institue of Container Lessors (IICL).
If you need an IICL certified container, please let us know and we can get you pricing for exactly what you need.
